Fantastic service large room great location

The hotel is situated on the banks of the Saar River. It is a classical Mercure hotel. It is 7-minute walk from the railway station and 10-minute walk from the most important sightseeing. Near the hotel is a huge park (walking and running), and vis-a-vis is a congress centre. The breakfast was rich with a touch of local cuisine! Extraordinary perfect!

The man who was on duty after midnight was so helpful after my disgust with the booking I had made at St Gallen. Th e St Gallen accommodation was so bad I had no alternative but to go to my next planned stay at Saarbrucken. There was a pleasant and helpful attitude from the large majority of the staff and a peacefulness in the place

Breakfast was fantastic. They even had smoked salmon. Wifi was easy to connect and worked well. Car park was secure and easy access to the Hotel.

great hotel, on the edge of town overlooking the river Saar, parking directly underneath which is great, very short walk to restaurants by the river or in to town which is a much larger town than I realised. really good breakfast and rooms spotlessly clean, easy check out , free bottles of water and juice which isn't essential but still nice.

great location to centre of town and river walking to restaurants bars shops etc good safe underground parking decent sized room with nice balcony views of the city and outdoor furniture very comfy bed good air con fridge kettle etc nice terrace for drinks or dinner waiters were very attentive and helpful

Loved everything Friendly staff, great location, amazing breakfast selection, including freshly cooked bacon and eggs Great bar area in the evening including outside terrace. Our server on Sunday night was particularly friendly and engaging. We shared an interest in border collies !
